Cherry-Nut Crunch

1 can cherry pie filling
½ teaspoon almond flavoring
½ box or 2 cups Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Butter Recipe cake mix
½ cup chopped pecans
1 stick butter or margarine

Mix pie filling with almond extract and pour into 9 by 9-inch pan. (Don’t forget to spray pan with Pam or a cooking spray.)
Sprinkle cake mix and nuts over pie filling. Drizzle melted butter over all. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes. If you double the recipe, use a 9 by 13-inch dish or pan.
